How to test the load capacity of heavy load cargo tricycle?

The load capacity of heavy load cargo tricycles is directly related to their transport efficiency and operational safety.To ensure that the vehicle can stably carry the rated load and avoid safety hazards caused by overloading or insufficient load capacity,it is necessary to carry out standardized load capacity tests before use or after maintenance.The test process should be carried out in a safe site with flat ground and no obstacles,and professional personnel should be arranged to operate and monitor to ensure the safety of the test.

First,carry out the no-load test to check the basic performance of the vehicle.Before the load test,the vehicle should be inspected comprehensively,including the integrity of the frame,chassis,tires,braking system and power system.Then,carry out the no-load test:start the vehicle,drive at a uniform speed on a flat road,observe whether the vehicle runs smoothly,whether there is abnormal noise in the engine or motor,whether the steering is flexible,and whether the braking system is sensitive.The no-load test can eliminate the basic faults of the vehicle and lay a foundation for the subsequent load test.

Second,conduct the gradual load test to test the vehicle's load-bearing capacity step by step.According to the rated load capacity of the vehicle,divide the load into 3-4 levels,starting from 50%of the rated load,and gradually increasing to 75%,90%and 90%.After each level of load is added,the vehicle is driven on a flat road for a certain distance(usually 1-2 kilometers),and the operation status of the vehicle is observed:whether the frame and chassis are deformed,whether the tires are abnormally inflated,whether the power system can stably output power,and whether the braking performance is normal.If any abnormal situation is found during the test,the test should be stopped immediately,and the vehicle should be inspected and maintained before continuing.

Third,perform the extreme load test(optional)to verify the maximum load capacity of the vehicle.On the premise that the gradual load test is normal,the load can be appropriately increased(not exceeding 10%of the rated load)to carry out the extreme load test.The vehicle is driven at a low speed on a flat road,and the deformation of the frame,chassis and cargo compartment is closely observed,as well as the operation of the power system and braking system.The extreme load test is mainly used to verify the safety margin of the vehicle,but it should not be carried out frequently to avoid excessive wear of the vehicle components.

Finally,after the test,comprehensively inspect the vehicle components.After the load test is completed,unload the cargo,check whether the frame,chassis,suspension system and other components are deformed or loose,whether the tires are damaged,and whether the braking system and power system are working normally.Record the test data,including the load capacity,vehicle operation status and component performance,to provide a basis for the subsequent use and maintenance of the vehicle.It should be noted that the load test should not be carried out on uneven roads or slopes to avoid inaccurate test results and safety hazards.
