The battery capacity is one of the core parameters of electric five-wheel cargo tricycles,which directly determines the vehicle's endurance mileage and load capacity.Unlike ordinary electric three-wheel tricycles,electric five-wheel cargo tricycles are often used for medium and heavy-load transportation,so their battery capacity is usually larger to meet the power demand of heavy-load driving.The specific battery capacity is not fixed,and is mainly affected by the vehicle's load-bearing design,endurance requirements and battery type.

First,the relationship between battery capacity and vehicle load-bearing capacity.Electric five-wheel cargo tricycles with larger load-bearing capacity usually need to be equipped with batteries with larger capacity.This is because heavy-load driving consumes more electric energy,and a larger capacity battery can provide sufficient power support to avoid insufficient power during transportation.For example,electric five-wheel cargo tricycles used for construction site material transportation,with a load-bearing capacity of more than 1500kg,are usually equipped with batteries with a capacity of 120Ah to 200Ah;while those used for light-load urban distribution,with a load-bearing capacity of less than 1000kg,can meet the needs with batteries of 60Ah to 100Ah.

Second,the influence of endurance requirements on battery capacity.The endurance mileage required by users is an important factor determining battery capacity.If the vehicle needs to be used for long-distance transportation(such as more than 50 kilometers a day),a larger capacity battery is required to ensure that the vehicle can complete the transportation task without frequent charging.On the contrary,if it is only used for short-distance transportation(such as within 30 kilometers a day),a battery with a smaller capacity can meet the needs.In addition,the actual endurance mileage is also affected by factors such as cargo load,road conditions and driving habits,so the battery capacity is usually designed with a certain margin.

Third,the impact of battery type on capacity expression.Electric five-wheel cargo tricycles usually use lead-acid batteries or lithium batteries,and the capacity of different types of batteries is expressed and performed differently.Lead-acid batteries are relatively mature in technology and low in cost,and their capacity is usually between 60Ah and 150Ah,which is suitable for most light and medium-load electric five-wheel cargo tricycles.Lithium batteries have the advantages of light weight,long service life and high energy density,and their capacity can reach 80Ah to 200Ah,which is more suitable for heavy-load and long-endurance electric five-wheel cargo tricycles.It should be noted that the same capacity of lithium batteries has a longer endurance than lead-acid batteries under the same load condition.
